Plastic Playstation

Hello Hellooo ~
I've decided that I am going to start cross-posting all of my dreamwidth entries onto live journal (If you're reading this from lj, hello!). I started live journal first but didn't stay long due to the lack of being able to find a community. Believe or not, people have moved on to other social platforms LOL.

Outside of that, I have good news! I was accepted into both of the schools I applied to, so I have that going for me.

Unfortunately though, I have bad news as well. It appears that they shut down Extasy Visual Shock?? What the fuck. I used to play it all the time but it was removed from the appstore and they privated their twitter. It only ran for a year lol. I assume this might have to do with licensing issues maybe? It wasn't an insanely popular game, so the company that was hosting the game might've lost a lot of money trying to keep it up.

Ahhh, I guess we're back to using fan-made beatmaps of vkei songs on indie rhythm games again then. Just like the dark ages.

Test results and general updates

I finally got my test results back. My composite score on the ACT was 24. Looking it up I guess I scored higher than 73% of all of the other test takers? Idk. It's kind of a funny thing to think about, looking at how I never apply myself in any of my classes and have gained a reputation as the "not-so-intelligent goofball". I don't plan on starting to take school seriously though. It's so much easier to just do what I want when I want to 🥱

Although, I do need to apply to the trade school I want to attend now that I know I have the scores they want. When looking at their site it seemed like they had a ton of on-campus activities? Hunting, fishing, a golf course, a pool, a movie theater, hiking trails. Who needs all of that? It seems like so much. It's intimidating in a way. What if I get lost in their massive golf course on the way to class? I have that kind of luck.

Other than that things have been going somewhat the same. Everything has just been small events that I don't feel are really necessary to write about. Maybe that's a good thing though.

So much So little

This was a very short school week for me lol. I only attended yesterday and we have a half day today. Barely any school at all.

Regardless of this, I feel like so much has happened outside of it -

1) My phone died and will not turn back on. I ordered a new phone and it should be here tomorrow; I just hope the people I don't have immediate access to irl don't think that I am ghosting them or hate them or something lol.

2) I did take my test! I'm not 100% sure how I did on it (I don't get the results for a few more weeks) but I know I was at least better prepared than a handful of my peers. They told me this themselves. I am not full of myself. I promise.

3) I got my hair cut and while it's too short for my liking, I'm learning to live with it. It kind of looks like whatever Atsushi Sakurai had going on in 1995. It's not awful, but it just doesn't fit me. I don't have the personality to pull something like that off.

That's really everything off of the top of head excluding really small projects I've started on ~ Hopefully things will smooth over but it's nothing that I'm losing my head over. Just a few bumps in the road lol.

Have to take the ACT this weekend... I've been studying for the last two weeks so I think I should do fine but my score depends on if I'll be let into the school I want or not! So I'm hoping all goes well. I will update you all if I end up getting the necessary marks. There will be no update if I don't. That's embarrassing.

Other than that I've been really getting into Hizaki and his work recently. I still need to listen to more of it, but I really enjoyed Rosario! It's been the perfect background music for everything that I've been doing recently. Hopefully the rest of his music is similar. If not, then I hope it is just as good.

Helloooo. I know it's been a very long time since I've posted here but I'm hoping to return long term. I've been spending a lot of time on instagram recently, but I think it would be good to have my own space separated from my life in the outside world. I have a lot of thoughts to share; it's just a matter of finding the time.

Yoshiki Classical Delivery ~~

I ordered the Yoshiki Classical CD as a little birthday present for myself and it arrived today <3
I would post pictures but it would be a huge hassle to upload the pictures from my flip phone or my camcorder onto my computer when you can find images of it online perfectly fine.
To be honest I actually haven't listened to much of Yoshiki's classical music until after getting this CD and while it wasn't bad I can't say it's my favorite work of his. It feels more like background music rather than something you can just listen to without anything else going on? If that makes sense?
It isn't a bad thing if that's what you're looking for, I guess I just expected something different.
Overall I guess I'm really excited just to own it in general, I almost never buy things related to jrock so it's neat to have lol.
